Dingle town is a very large fishing port which dates back to the 1830s. The Dingle locals are amongst the friendliest in Ireland and the town of Dingle is full of characters. Dingle is also home to very famous dolphin called Fungi. The story goes that Fungi once lost his swimming partner and he has been looking for them ever since. Fungi loves people and if you are lucky enough to get out to sea on a boat, you might be lucky enough to get a glimpse of the friendly dolphin.
