Our Dingle day tour is really popular amongst our customers! The name of the town in the Irish language is Daingean Uí Chúis. National Geographic once called Dingle “the most beautiful place on earth”. The Dingle Peninsula and Slea Head Drive offers a magnificent experience to visitors to Kerry and South West Ireland. This peninsula, famous from the epic film ‘Ryan’s Daughter’ offers breathtaking scenery to the discerning visitor. It is rare to find such a landscape which contains such breath taking scenery along with a variety of archaeological monuments. There are over 2000 monuments in the Dingle Peninsula that are remarkably preserved. It is a location in Ireland that is full of archaeological heritage and history. We have guided tours of Dingle running over all of the summer season.
The area, primarily Irish speaking, includes the lively port town of Dingle and stunning views of the famous Blasket Islands. The Dingle day tour tour on this route will be a day of scenery, history and fun that you will never forget!
Dingle town is a very large fishing port which dates back to the 1830s. The Dingle locals are amongst the friendliest in Ireland and the town of Dingle is full of characters. Dingle is also home to very famous dolphin called Fungi. The story goes that Fungi once lost his swimming partner and he has been looking for them ever since. Fungi loves people and if you are lucky enough to get out to sea on a boat, you might be lucky enough to get a glimpse of the friendly dolphin.
