Come and join us on our Blarney and Cobh tour. Another one of our Cork tours that is very popular amongst our customers.
Blarney is home to the world famous “Blarney Stone”. The Blarney Stone is made of limestone. It is built into the battlements of Blarney Castle. Blarney is approximately 8km from Cork. The Blarney Stone was first put into the tower of the castle in the year 1146. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions in all of Ireland. People come from all over the world to kiss the Blarney Stone. You can also tour the magnificent gardens and the castle.
Cobh is known as the last port of call for the famous and ill-fated ship, the Titanic. Over 2.5 million people passed through this harbour between 1848 and 1950. Cobh is a seaside tourist town in the South of Ireland. It has some wonderful sites to see including Spike Island. Spike Island used to be where Irish prisoners were sent but its doors were closed in 2004. The prison still remains on the island and tourists flock there every year to get a glimpse of what life what like for the unfortunate inmates who called it their home.
We look forward to seeing you on our Blarney and Cobh tour.
